Bio | I live in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. As a visiting student at Harvard (Master in Law), I took a course on the prevention of violence against women. It resonated deeply with me in a way I could not have anticipated and gave me tools to begin transforming a difficult childhood experience into a source of strength and resilience. Over the following two years, I continued my training in Boston, Montreal, and San Francisco, before launching similar courses in Switzerland. That was in 1992. For the past 33 years, I have been pursuing this passion—supported by my husband and enriched by the journey of raising our three children, who are now adults. Today, I have the privilege of working with a team of 15 remarkable colleagues. Together, we teach prevention tools that empower children, teenagers, and adults to feel more confident when facing aggression or violence. For those who have already endured trauma, we provide guidance and support to help them rebuild trust in themselves and reclaim their confidence. Here are a few other passions of mine: Walking in nature (preferably with my dog), reading, swimming year-round with a group of friends in the lake near my home (yes, it gets pretty cold during the winter!), dancing, yoga, listening to and playing music, travelling (in 2012, we took our kids out of school for a year to travel around the world). Last summer, I began reading Beyond Anxiety and listening to the Gathering Room podcast. Martha Beck’s words spoke directly to my heart. Enrolling in this training felt like the natural next step—a new adventure to deepen my journey, connect with a community of kindred spirits, and bring even more peace and joy to the people I accompany, both personally and professionally. |
