Hi, I’m Diane Sliwka, a hospitalist physician and chief physician experience officer at the University of California, San Francisco. I’ve dedicated a lot of my career to learning and teaching communication and group facilitation skills and to improving systems and culture in healthcare.

I’m making a huge career pivot with a plan to “retire” from my day job in summer 2026 when I turn 50, inspired by the Way of Integrity book. : ) I’m very interested in having a coaching business of my own and seeing where else this adventure takes me!

I started on an integrity journey before I learned Martha’s naming of such a thing, and have made a lot of changes in the last several years, including ending a marriage, becoming polyamorous, and making some major changes in my job/career. I love spirituality, Buddhist psychology, the Enneagram, and the idea of helping people navigate their own journeys. I have a 16 year old daughter who is one of the best things that ever happened to me.

I’m fan-girling hard about Martha Beck! Cannot stop devouring her content since I discovered her in July of this year. : )

I feel incredibly fortunate to be in this cohort learning to be a coach in Martha’s style. It feels truly magical. I so look forward to connecting with all of you!
