Apparently it’s bad form to talk about the dream you had last night, a big no-no if you’re trying to impress a room of academics or dinner-party people.

But if you want an express pass to my heart, then sit down, pull out your dream journal, and tell. me. everything.

I feel a special kinship with folks who dabble in mystical arts like astrology and tarot, practices I embrace despite a Seventh Day Adventist background that scarred and scared me. Sometimes my palms still get sweaty when I remember that the word “occult” applies to the rituals I now cherish. (The book of Revelation did a number on me!)

After escaping the Apocalypse Watch, I stumbled directly into an abusive relationship, then addiction, then workaholic numbing. I spent more than a decade in corporate telecom, designing and facilitating leadership training, and hustling the life force right out of myself.

Now I’m here. Healing, whole, complete, and ready to help other lion-hearts who’ve lost their way.
